The 10-Minute Scroll: A Simple Way to Engage Scripture Deeply

What if ten minutes a day could reshape your spiritual life?

In this video, I share a simple devotional practice that has deeply refreshed my walk with God: copying Scripture by hand for ten minutes each day.

This idea isn’t new. In Deuteronomy 17, Israel’s kings were instructed to write their own copy of the Law and meditate on it daily. Before they could lead others, they had to be shaped by the Word.

I call this practice **The King’s Scroll** — a simple 10-minute rhythm of writing Scripture word by word. No pressure to finish chapters. No need to rush. Just intentional focus and engagement.

When we write slowly, we pay attention.

When we pay attention, we absorb.

When we absorb, we are transformed.

In a culture of constant scrolling and distraction, this is a quiet but powerful way to return to depth.

If you’re looking for a practical way to slow down, focus your mind, and reconnect with God’s Word, this might be the place to start.

Set a timer. Choose a passage. Write it slowly.

Start small. Stay consistent. Watch what happens.
